Spray paint on wood panel, signed on reverse, 1220 x 915 x 50mm

The Abstract Neocalligraphic Expressionist painting is one of the first paintings using my new ‘gradient reveal’ technique that enables me to paint gradients within fluid lines.

The main colour on this painting is silver paint which at certain angles looks darker than the yellow streak and other angles it is lighter. This painting is big, bold and eye catching as you walk past it and the light changes the colour. The faded Indigo and Ultramarine blues give a real depth to the gradients within the post-graffiti style abstracted lettering.

Painted on a custom made 50mm deep wood panel, the edges have been sprayed indigo and ultramarine blue, it makes a real statement piece. Though originally painted in landscape, this painting can be hung landscape or portrait.
