Persistance in Pink

Spray paint on wood panel. Framed. A2 size. Signed on reverse.

This painting is based on the sea at Roker, between the piers. During an energetic sea which can be green but at the same time reflect the pinks of the sunrise. When I swim, I live in the moment, I observe the energy and flow of the water when I am there, I take on the shapes and colours of the sea and then I paint these energetically from memory. So in effect I am painting a feeling as much as a scene.

This painting comes framed which I have sprayed pink to match. You can see some raw spray paint marks contrasted with the textured marks made using a torn edge and painted with a gradient step of pinks.
