SWDTP Bristol University

For this commission I created two murals, one in the common room that features different images from the locations of the different University that make up the South West Doctoral Training Partnership. I used my gradient reveal technique to create rainbow drips and a combination of freehand and stencil techniques to paint the mural.

The second mural is in the main hall/staircase and features a large bookshelf with individual titled books that was made from a list provided by the buildings users. Small scholar elves are dotted around the books and there are a number of hidden meanings within the mural.

I really enjoyed my time painting in Bristol and was made thoroughly welcome by the staff there, special thanks to Sonja Foster for commissioning this work.
